Saline's First Choice for Gum Disease Treatment
Gum disease is one of the most dangerous, yet sometimes hard to detect, dental issues facing dental patients in Saline. Bad breath can be masked with mouthwash and mints. Crooked teeth can be fixed with braces. Missing teeth can be disguised with dentures. But these are all solutions to problems that could have been dealt with earlier if the dangers of gum disease were better known. But to know the dangers, the warning signs and risks of gum disease must be fully understood.
Not many people in the Saline area know about the warning signs of periodontal (gum) disease Do you? If you find that you are fighting a losing battle with halitosis (bad breath), then you may have the beginning stages of gum disease. If your gums bleed easily during brushing or eating, you may be a victim of this powerful demon. If your gums are swollen or tender, you can bet the first stages of gum disease have set up shop in your smile. Or maybe you are suffering from a case of retreating gums.
All these signs can be indications that you are not doing everything in your power to prevent gum disease and you should contact Dr. Donald Wutzel today.
So what are you waiting for? For an initial gum disease consultation, call Dr. Donald Wutzel at Donald Wurtzel DDS.
There are also risk factors that are not so much under your control: diabetes, some necessary medications for other health issues and crooked teeth can also lead to periodontal disease. That is where regular visits to the Saline office of Dr. Wutzel can take up the slack. At the very least, twice-yearly visits to the dentist should be on your schedule. But if you suffer from any of the risk factors, whether the factors are under your control or not, you might want to step up your visits to your dentist. Dr. Wutzel would be happy to be that dentist.
